Two Cities MP Nickie Aiken today reminded everyone living in the Cities of London & Westminster of the importance of completing the 2021 Census.
The information collected by the Census is essential to ensure that local services are properly funded in years to come.
If people usually resident in the Cities of London and Westminster are currently staying away from their main home, out of the constituency, during the Pandemic, then they should fill in the information for their main home.
If people do not fill in the information, the data collected would show that the number of people living in the Two Cities is lower than the reality. If this happens, funding of local services could be stretched. This underfunding could lead to a rise in council tax.
So please do spend the time in the next day or so to fill in your census. It will make such a difference to your local authority.
