Nickie was joined by Dr Sheila D'Souza (left), Cllr Barbara Arzymanow (right) and Cynthia Poole (far right) to present her Marylebone Station Parliament Petition at 10 Downing Street.
Over recent months, MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken has worked with the Marylebone Society, local people and businesses to improve the air quality around Marylebone Station.
Following her campaign and Parliament Petition, Nickie is delighted that the Department of Transport is exploring options to reduce Chiltern Railways’ reliance on diesel trains, and move to more environmentally friendly trains.
A huge win for local people in Marylebone and another example of how action is being taken to clean up London’s air.
Nickie would like to thank everyone who took part, signed her Petition, and made their voice heard!
