Nickie Aiken believes that it is an important part of her role as Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster to hold public meetings where she can hear directly from the people she represents in Parliament.
That's why Nickie, continuing a series of public meetings, held her latest meeting for people living in the Hyde Park ward. She was joined by our local GLA member, Tony Devenish.
Nickie was delighted so many local people took the time to attend and share their views. It is clear from what was raised with her that tackling crime and anti-social behaviour, and illegal immigration are top priorities.
Nickie's Crime Plan for Westminster, which she produced following my crime survey which thousands of you filled in, highlights the need to take a zero tolerance approach. You can read the Plan here.
Nickie will be working with the local police and local authorities in the Two Cities to ensure we see more police on our streets and that your concerns are their concerns.
