It’s so important we all feel safe in our homes and whilst out and about. So Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, was pleased to meet with the City of London Police Commissioner, Angela Mclaren, and her team to discuss local concerns and your priorities for them.
After Nickie's walkabouts with the Commissioner on the Golden Lane Estate and Farringdon Within by St Paul’s, Nickie invited the Commissioner to Portsoken to highlight the concerns she has heard from local people, including police visibility.
Whilst focussing on Portsoken this time, Nickie also reiterated previous discussions around the Middlesex Estate Project and speeding cars in the Barbican. A vital meeting and Nickie will continue to work with the police to ensure our concerns are listened to.
