MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, caught up with Steve Barclay MP, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, to discuss the possibility of recognising British Sign Language as an official language.
As the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Steve Barclay MP also leads the Government's equality and disability units.
This year, Nickie has been inspired by Rose Ayling-Ellis, and stories from the National Deaf Children's Society to learn BSL. She'll keep updating on her progress, and is looking forward to speaking with Chloe Smith MP, Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work.
