St Mary’s Hospital has been a leading provider of clinical care, education and research for over 175 years. So Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, was glad to catch up with the Secretary of State for Health, Steve Barclay MP.
It was a great opportunity to press the need for a full redevelopment of St Mary’s and discuss how we can work together with Imperial NHS Trust on the necessary steps to finalise plans.
Nickie was glad to hear that the Government is committed to getting the enabling works started as soon as possible, ensuring we invest in St Mary’s to better serve our local community as London’s major acute hospital for North-West London.
Nickie looks forward to visiting St Mary’s in the near future to continue her discussions on the redevelopment of this vital hospital.
