Two Cities MP was pleased to join Monica Hill, a resident of Rivermill, Grosvenor Road, as well as her daughter and neighbour outside City Hall to deliver their petition to Westminster City Council.
They are campaigning for a gate to be installed on top of the staircase outside Rivermill to tackle issues of anti-social behaviour on the Thames Path.
The petition, backed by 300 people, coincides with their submission of a planning application for the Thames Path to be closed off at night between Vauxhall Bridge and Crown Reach. Nickie hopes that this show of support from local people will encourage the council to take responsibility and address anti-social behaviour on the Thames Path once and for all.
