MP for the Cities of London & Westminster met with Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak MP, to discuss a wide range of issues affecting the Two Cities.
Nickie highlighted the specific problems that small, medium and large businesses are facing. Business rates; staff shortages within the hospitality sector; the need to give workers the confidence to use public transport again to return to work in central London; and the ongoing issue of the lack of international travellers, which is a major issues for the travel, tourism and leisure sectors.
The Chancellor appreciates the unique issues that the Two Cities are currently facing, and is determined, along with Nickie, to ensure we build upon the economic recovery to support businesses.
