Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster returned to the the Barbican to catch up with Adam Hogg and Averil Baldwin from the Barbican Association.
A number of local people have expressed concerns around the proposed development at London Wall West, the current home of the Museum of London. Adam and Averil explained the impact these proposals will have.
As someone who used to live in the Barbican, Nickie understands that having a project so close to a residential building could create considerable effects on the local quality of life, not least the possible noise disruption that will ensue. Nickie has agreed to support the Association with its campaign to ensure the City of London Corporation appreciates the genuine concerns people have with the proposals as they stand and push for greater community engagement to ensure we have our say.
