Nickie speaks in support of the 2nd Reading of the Domestic Abuse Bill in today's Virtual House of Commons. Nickie highlighted the adverse effects of domestic abuse on children and young people - too often seen as witnesses of abuse rather than as victims. "All victims of domestic abuse can expect and receive the support they need to recover from harm and move on with their lives" says Nickie. "Domestic abuse does not discriminate and neither should the law."
