Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, had a wonderful visit to Future Men, an award-winning charity based in Churchill Gardens supporting boys and men in our neighbourhoods addressing the stereotypes around masculinity and engaging in the wider conversation of what it means to be a man.
Sitting down with the team, Nickie had an inspiring conversation about their work with their Managing Director, Owen Thomas, and Head of Programmes, William Johnson, as well as two incredible team members at Future Men, Theodora and Tofiq, plus Josh, a remarkable young man who visits the centre and is considering a career in youth work.
Future Men brings our neighbourhoods together and gives our children and young people a chance to talk, learn, play, and engage with other people. They make an incredible difference to people and Nickie looks forward to returning to hear directly from the young people who use their facilities about what this brilliant organisation means to them.
