MP for the Cities of London & Westminster met with Stephanie Boyce, President at The Law Society to discuss how the legal system can become more accessible, and allow for easier access to legal support.
Stephanie welcomed the recent Government action to introduce a grant scheme for small and medium law-tech firms. The scheme would incentivise those firms to create easier routes for access to justice and support, particularly important as the Country comes out of the pandemic.
Nickie is committed to supporting the Law Society, and work for fair access to justice and legal education. Nickie believes this to be particularly important if the judicial system is to move to a hybrid model with virtual hearings to stay after the pandemic.
