MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, joined Youth Clubs to see more of the vital work they're doing, particularly to keep children and young people busy over the summer holidays.
Nickie was able to see first hand the activities on offer, partly funded by the Young Westminster Foundation, including archery, creative arts, boxing, dancing and many more!

Speaking after her visits, Nickie said,
I've just been to St. Andrew’s Youth Club, the oldest youth club in the world, here in the heart of Westminster. Seeing what they're doing for the summer holidays. Brilliant type of stuff that's going on there. There's archery, there's dancing, there's boxing, there's creative arts.
Amazing what St. Andrew's are putting on for local kids in the area. Yesterday, I went to Churchill Youth Club and again saw the brilliant work that they're doing. And I saw Dream Arts, again, what they're doing for children who are transitioning from primary to secondary school, which can be a quite difficult time for some children.
All this brilliant work that's going on in Westminster. Brilliant work that's being funded in part by the Young Westminster Foundation. And it's so brilliant to see so much going on for children during the summer holidays. And I hope they'll also take part in the Two Cities Summer Snaps, the photography competition that I'm running.
