MP for the Cities of London & Westminster joined in celebrations to say thank you on Emergency Services Day.
Celebrating the day, Nickie said,
"On Emergency Services Day. I would like to pay tribute and thank all those in the uniform services, the police, the fire, our paramedics, the RNLI, our brilliant NHS staff. Thank them for their brilliant service to this country. I'm about to go into New Scotland Yard to meet the Deputy Commissioner.
"I was in the City of London this morning raising the flag for Emergency Services Day. I met the Deputy Commissioner of the City of London Police. Thank you all for your service to this country."
