MP for the Cities of London & Westminster - which includes the iconic West End - is calling on Mayor Sadiq Khan to reintroduce the Night Tube immediately.
Nickie says
"Many people have contacted me to highlight concerns about women and girls’ safety following the devastating murders of Sarah Everard and Sabina Ness.
"The Mayor of London can help play his part by ensuring the night tube is reinstated to allow women enjoying a night out or those who work in the nighttime economy to return home safely and cheaply.
"We have the drivers, we have the trains but we still do not have the night tube.
"I have written to the Mayor urging him to reopen the service across the capital as soon as possible. From what I understand, the Mayor has persuaded the Unions to reopen the Victoria and Central Lines which is a start but if women are to travel home safely across the capital we need all five lines reinstated."
