MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, championed Menopause Awareness Month during a debate in the House of Commons Chamber.
Nickie was proud to contribute to the debate, sharing her own experience of menopause and encouraged everyone to learn more to ensure to break the barriers to menopause.
Nickie believes it is vital for women, and also men, to understand the signs of menopause so no woman suffers in silence. During the debate, she called for support and information to be improved, and for GP surgeries to display the Pausitivity #KnowYourMenopause posters.
Everyone, men included, has a role to play in learning more so they can better understand what their partners, mums, sisters, friends and colleagues are going through and help them through this life-changing moment.
Pausitivity are a brilliant group, campaigning to raising awareness around the menopause. Check out their fantastic resources, including their #KnowYourMenopause poster at www.pausitivity.co.uk/
