Westminster City Council has partnered with the West End Company to give space to start-ups and local talent in the West End.
Nickie Aiken, MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, joined Cllr Matthew Green to visit the innovative pop-up shop project in the West End.
Nickie popped into Bottle Top, The Regent Street Edit, and The Collect, all part of the 'pop-up' shops initiative to see their amazing products and took the opportunity to buy some stocking fillers from these fantastic vendors.
Speaking in the West End, Nickie said,
"I've been out this morning in the West End with Councillor Matthew Green, who is the Business Cabinet Member at Westminster City Council. He has been showing me all the brilliant pop up shops that the council have been organising with BIDS like HOLBA and The New West End Company.
"I've been doing my Christmas shopping as well. I'm meeting brilliant small business owners in the fashion and retail sectors who are using these pop ups in Regent Street and in Oxford Street to showcase their amazing products and being able to work within the West End and have a retail presence.
"So well done Westminster City Council and get out to the West End and shop."
