Nickie Aiken, MP for the Cities of London & Westminster was delighted to join the Dean of St Paul's Cathedral for a tour and learn more about one of London's most iconic landmarks, the Mother Church of the Diocese of London.
Ahead of the Very Revd. Dr David Ison's retirement later this year, Nickie was honoured to be shown around the Cathedral, and see for herself the awe-inspiring interior, and historic building.
The Cathedral is rich with history and home to the final resting places of many notable people in London's history including the tombs of the Duke of Wellington, Admiral Nelson, and Sir Christopher Wren, the architect of St Paul's. Nickie encourages you to visit and see for yourself.
