Route 211, connecting Pimlico, Victoria and Westminster to Charing Cross, Chelsea & Westminster, Royal Brompton, Royal Marsden and St Thomas' hospitals is set to be changed. The Mayor of London is proposing the route starts at Battersea Power Station, cutting out Pimlico, Victoria and Westminster altogether.
The Mayor of London is proposing the route starts at Battersea Power Station, cutting out Pimlico, Victoria and Westminster altogether. This cut would have a devastating impact on anyone from Westminster going to the hospitals for an appointment, supporting a relative or friend at an appointment, or visiting a loved one.
The Mayor has already had £5 billion of support from the Government, the largest single recipient of pandemic support across the transport sector. He's choosing to cut our bus network because he does not have a grip on TfL's finances.
Join Nickie Aiken, MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, and Tony Devenish, London Assembly Member for West Central, and send the Mayor of London a very clear message: Hands off our buses!
