Member of Parliament for the Cities of London and Westminster, Nickie Aiken, had a fantastic walkabout in Marylebone where she caught up with local Councillors Barbara Arzymanow and Karen Scarborough as well as the Marylebone Safer Neighbourhood Team to hear about the issues affecting the community.
Matters raised include the consequences of the exponential rise in short-term, holiday style, lets which so many of you have also written to Nickie about.
Nickie has secured a Government consultation, please do respond and make your voices heard.
Nickie also learnt more about the local road traffic offences committed by cyclists in Marylebone such as riding on pavements or jumping red lights. Nickie knows that those cyclists who do break the law are in the minority and she will continue working with Marylebone's councillors and police team to take action where possible.
If you have a local, national or international issue which you think Nickie can help with, please do send her an email.
